Dear Survivors,
Thank you for your efforts, with your help we can fix all the bugs. We will work hard on it! If you want to support us, please write a review because our goal shall be to have 70% positive reviews in steam to survive in our huge quest.
We have again adjusted some small points based on your feedback. In the next few days further bugfixing will follow and also solving the memory leak. After the bugslaying we will work on some improvements for Dead age 2 in August. There will be a news about this in the next days.
Here is today's changelist:
- fixed a display error in the description of the melee defense skill in several languages
- fixed some smaller possible memory leaks (we have to check if these caused the extreme memory problems occuring over time)
- fixed a crash that could occur during combat when using a PS4 controller to play the game
- added a revert button to the upgrades screen
- fixed some inconsistencies regarding "constitution" and "endurance" in some descriptions for all localizations
- added the possibility to skip through dialogues very quickly by holding the right mouse button on the text area
- fixed that characters where not actually removed from party when assigned to the scout job at comm station
- fixed that the resting camp event in the forest didn't apply any healing
- fixed a bug where the dialogues in the merchant event could display wrong options after haggling leading to a stucked game state
- fixed that survivors who died could arrive again at the camp later on
- disabled Unity's GPU threading feature as it caused massive DirectX 11 error spam in the log file on some devices and might even be the cause of some crashes related to DirectX
- improved the performance in scenarios: bunker, hospital and prison to prevent possible crashes caused by graphic problems
- fixed a crash when pressing the arrow keys of the character list of a room or camp inventory while the list is empty
- fixed that the USArmy armor given by character upgrades would grant access to the Amry HQ right from the start
- fixed that tungsten ore event was showing iron ore dialogues
That’s it for now, guys. Thank you so much for your ongoing encouragement and support! ❤️
All the best and stay healthy!
