The list of improvements that are coming just keeps getting longer!
Our main focus for this update is to polish, fix bugs, and improve existing mechanics. Before we add anymore new features to the game, we want to make sure our existing ones are the best that they can be.
As we briefly mentioned in our last update, we are improving the way buying out a company works by introducing stocks! Rather than simply making an offer and waiting for an answer, we are making the process far more interesting. You will not be the only one buying out companies, a competitor can now buyout your company as well!
All companies will start with 10 stocks each. Purchasing a stock from a company will give you a slight ownership of that company. If a company loses all of their stocks, they will be in danger of being bought out. They must defend by quickly buying back their stocks from competitors. If they do not act fast enough, they will be purchased and forced to merge with their new owners.
Changing up the buyout option this way adds new strategies, decisions, and depth to the game. We can’t wait to share it!
The hint system is also getting an improvement. We are reworking this to include a full in-game wiki where you can easily look up all the info you need, when you need it. Features and mechanics will be neatly organized and explained with pictures and text. The wiki will also include the requested option to disable hints!
Other improvements include drivers salary demands and strike behaviors are being tweaked, several visual issues are being addressed, menus will now include scrollbars, and more!
We have been working closely with our community to polish the game where it needs it the most. All of your bug reports and feedback are looked over daily. We appreciate and read every email. If you are not already a part of our community, please join our Discord and help us make Transport INC the best it can be.
The beta will be arriving soon! Be sure to hop on board!
Stay safe!
