Steam Next Fest!
Hello Scribes and happy Steam Next Fest! From February 5th through the 12th, you can jump into the Tomes of the Illuminated Library and fight back against the decay of the Torn! Check out the trailer for the demo below!
What's In The Demo?
The Demo has a specific selection of content from the first few hours of Vellum. Being a multiplayer roguelike, there are plenty of choices to make; we want to provide enough variety for the overall pool of powers to shine, while still being a demo-sized excerpt.
Scribes work better together! The Demo supports full, 4-player co-op! Group up after the tutorial and tackle the Torn as a team!
There's a fun bundle of unlocks to collect in the Demo: loadout items, Tomes, new page choices, and some cosmetics. If you unlock these in the Demo through your Scribe journey, you'll keep them in the full game!
Feedback and Early Access
Last week, we talked about how important feedback is to us when developing Vellum. Since then, we've pushed two patches addressing bugs, issues, and feedback from our community Discord (and adding a couple extra Torn Pages)!

Claim a Cosmetic - Rookie
To celebrate the Demo and Steam Next Fest - we've added a cosmetic set that you can claim in the Library: Rookie! This set includes a Stylus and Raiment, and can be claimed in the Library as soon as you arrive!
There are also two other cosmetic sets that can be earned in the demo, as well as a book! You'll be diving into Tomes in style in no time!
Your progress in the Demo will also carry over to the full game.
A special thank you to the Discord community for your playtime over the last week! We're thrilled to be bringing the Vellum Demo to Steam Next Fest in a strong state!
If you haven't already, wishlisting Vellum is a great way to support the game and show your interest!
