Hi Gladiators!
To create the Telefrag VR, we asked ourselves: how would it be to play Unreal Tournament or Quake III Arena in Virtual Reality? We would like present to you how inspirations from these great titles are and will be visible in our game at various levels. Let's start with the weapons and their cool inspirations, which you've probably know very good.
Just like in Unreal Tournament in Telefrag VR, each of the weapons has two shooting modes, but unlike UT or Quake 3 Arena, you can use both weapons (one per hand) at the same time. Thanks to this, you increase the possibility of carrying out more complex attacks. Just imagine it. You shoot at the opponent, and at the same time, you launch teleport attack to change the position.
ROCKET LAUNCHER
Tools of doom are one of the pillars of a good FPS, especially if they guarantee destruction without requiring any particular precision. That's why in our game we add an absolute "must have": Rocket Launcher, which, like the one from Unreal Tournament, allows you to fire more rockets simultaneously (after having loaded them).
FLAK CANNON
Unreal Tournament iconic weapon, also here is a tool of pure brutality, but also... cunningness, because alternative mode allows you to create deadly mines just from the shells.
PLASMA RIFLE
Another classic weapon inspired by Plasma Gun from Quake 3 Arena - it`s better not to overheat this gun.
LASER PISTOL
Aim, pull the trigger, watch your entire map. Precision is the name of the laser pistol. Firing a ricocheting beam that deals huge amounts of damage. It is a weapon dedicated to all those who loved duels on Rail Guns.
PARTICLE CANNON
The weapon shoots a straight, continuous lightning bolt punishing anyone foolish enough to stand out in the visible spot. Come in too close, and the alternative mode will snap and follow you. This is how a gun inspired by Lighting Gun works.
