Hello there good people,
I'm super excited about this update so let me announce: A SPOOKY NIGHT event! There are new beasts to play, new neutral, new ghost, new rainy arena setup and some serious optimization/bugfixin'. Oh, and there is a 25% discount during The Steam Halloween Sale. Let us dive into details!
New Event:
Featuring new neutral beast: Vampiric Pumpkin. They replaced most of the common neutrals. Smash them to gain special potion granting life-stealing abilities. Gathering those potions is not only useful in battle, but also lets you progress this event faster. And the event reward is a unique spooky skin for SHE. This is first time a beast skin is introduced, I hope you'll like it.
More Content:
- New playable beast: MUMMEAN - his look may be familiar, but his repertoire of skills is completely unique: spawning insects, stealing life. A deadly mix of offense and defense.
- New ghost: BLINKY - small but fast. And cute.
- New rainy version of Skull Arena: filled with Vampiric Pumpkins and chests. It will be "randomly" chosen more often than other maps during this event.
- New localization language: Czech - so adorable that I use it instead of my own :].
Improvements & Bugfixes:
- Move prediction both precision and performance was vastly improved.
- While in team, your teammate planning sometimes was affecting your predicted path - Fixed.
- Eliminated some issues causing rolling beasts to freeze (probably not all, but still: thanks for your well documented reports in this matter).
- Decreased desynchronization probability (leading to premature matches endings) - again, I found and eliminated some causes, it works flawless on my local tests now, but I will not risk saying that the problem is eliminated ;B.
- Slight overall game performance improvement thanks to code optimisation/cleaning.
- Wrong (stretched) camera ratio on certain resolutions and multiple screens - Fixed.
- Quitting adventure match was count as a lost match sometimes (in you player stats) - Fixed.
- Skill icon was appearing before you gain skill sometimes (especially when gaining more than one skill during one turn) - Fixed.
- Clicking decorative maggots on sand arena at night (:P), was making a splash but not killing them - Fixed.
- It was possible to click Maggots (on sand arena) while they move, causing visual bugs - Fixed.
- In case of no input from a player since the beginning of a match, sometimes his beast was rolling in place instead of moving - Fixed.
- Non-player beasts names were showing some other texts - Fixed.
- Improved Russian translations and fixed some other languages typos. There are some texts missing in all translations except English and Polish - working on it :)
That's it for now, thanks for playing.
And see you on the (rainy) arena!
