The galaxy is in peril. Pilot your heavily armed fighter through 5 exotic planets to destroy the evil Dr Grag and save the Life Spark. Joining you on your journey is The Engineer, a silicon being capable of building anything you need. Unfortunately, he's a jackas... *BZZTTTTtttt*
THE ENGINEER:
Gah! Enough with the exposition. *PZZT* Damn narrator bot. *PZSHHHHhhh..*
Ok better! Well hello, meat brain. Good to meet you. I'm ready to begin your combat training. I've created a new advanced fighter for you containing your favorites: blasters, rockets, bombs, a tractor beam, and a state-of-the-art pancake making machine in the back.
You heard about the Life Spark. Got stolen. Yeah, I guess it’s important. Shouldn’t have left my keys in the lock. Boy is my face red.
I still can’t believe the council of planets chose you, a human, to go along with me. Have you read an anatomy book? You're kinda gross. But fine. Let me take you on a tour.
This is my ship, The Schadenfreude. The fighter ship I've built for you is an infiltration fighter. We’ll need one to blast our way through Dr Grag’s underground bases. He'll never be expecting it! AHAHAHA!
*squiiisshhh*… Ooo, sorry you stepped in that. I believe that was once a Phlostian Cow. Nasty...
Who? Dr Grag? Right. He's a silicon being like me. And, like me, he's quite crafty. We know he’s taken over several bases, and in a sneak attack he kidnapped one of our generals. Dr Grag has built a variety of attack units and puzzles to stop us, but WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS.
Do whatever human stuff you gotta do to get ready... and let's CONQUER THE GALAXY!
I mean, Conquer Dr Grag. Sorry, slipped there...
Explodey COMING SOON for Windows and Mac, and already available on iOS and Android. Explodey is a sci-fi side scroller adventure with upgradeable ships, weapons, and (of course) hats. What if Choplifter, Desert Strike, and a dungeon crawler had a baby, and that baby involves lots of explosions and dirty jokes? That's what Explodey is.
Plus it's totally AAA. Ok, at least AA. A and a half.
