To celebrate the imminent launch of Revelation Online on Steam we’re inviting all our players to provide insightful words and inspiring pictures to better our collective understanding of Nuanor. To that end, we’re asking anyone who’s ever held aspirations to create a work of art to read on to enter our Steam Art Contest. (Or, if words and videos are more your thing, check out the Steam Guide Contest.)
For the Steam Art Contest, there are actually two categories you can enter, both of which require you to post your entries to the Revelation Online Community Hub on Steam. The first is for artwork (drawings, paintings, motivational posters and the like), which must be submitted to the Artwork section in order to be eligible.
The second type of entry is for screenshots, which must be submitted to the Screenshot section of Revelation Online’s Steam Community Hub. To be clear: If you post your screenshot in the Artwork section, or your scan of that six foot high oil on canvas you’ve been working on for the past year in the Screenshot section, it will be ineligible for consideration. Thankfully you have until September 9, 2018 to make sure your entry is in the correct place.
Part of the beauty of art is its spontaneity, so we won’t prompt you with inspiration, suffice to say that your efforts should begin and end with Revelation Online. You can enter as many screenshots or artworks as the muse allows, but as an entrant, you can only win once.
The one rule we must insist on is that your entry does not breach the Terms of Service or Code of Conduct. Oh yes, and please include your character name, gender and server name in the comments of your submitted entry.
As all tortured souls know creating art is its own reward, so you probably don’t care what the prizes are. Nevertheless, we have secured some loot to help motivate you. Note that the following prizes will be awarded to each category, one for the best art and the other for the best screenshots.
