ABOUT THE DEMO
I'm very excited to announce that the first playable demo of Limerick: Cadence Mansion releases today! Here's a breakdown of what you need to know:
- This demo does not include any of the story
- The complete game will have several "sandbox modes" where you can jump straight into an encounter with Limerick - this demo is one such mode
- This is the first public release and therefore prone to have some bugs
- Limerick is a systems-driven horror experience, so you should be prepared to die a lot at first as you learn the different techniques for surviving and triumphing
- Limerick really wants to say hello, so get downloading!
KNOWN GRAPHICS ISSUE
On certain graphics card, the pictured artifacts can occur after making changes to the graphics settings. These anomalies are directly related to real-time global illumination. I've done everything I can to try and mitigate this as much as possible, but (based on my testing so far) there are some quick and easy solutions to get the artifacts to disappear.
- Make sure to update your graphics drivers to the latest version
- After adjusting your graphics settings, close and restart the game (so far this eliminates the problem entirely unless you adjust your graphics settings again, at which point you would need to again close and restart)
- If all else fails, disable global illumination in the advanced graphics settings (you will still get a good visual experience even without global illumination)
