A game like Songs of Conquest relies heavily on an immersive and atmospheric soundtrack. When we created this game we knew we had to make it sound special. Luckily for us, our game designer Carl is also a musician. Besides creating (and singing!) the ballads that tells the story of all campaigns, he has also worked intensely with our talented composer Reynir Helgasson, to give the game a majestic fantasy soundtrack.
Not only does Carl, our Game Designer, hold well up in a shield wall, he'll also live to see another day and sing about it. A true skald of our age!
Given all the positive feedback we have gotten for the soundtrack, we thought it would be prudent to ask for help with nominating Songs of Conquest for the Best Soundtrack category in the coming Steam Awards. We need your vote to make that happen!
As a token of appreciation we also want to share this one hour long mix from the soundtrack. It works great for a reading session in your favorite comfy chair or when playing DnD. Or perhaps when just chilling out studying, at work or painting miniatures?
Thanks again for your support so far and your help with nominating us for the Steam Awards!
