The Hospital Update (Version 0.11) is now live!
This update further emphasises the focus on the daily lives of soldiers on the Western Front and the dangers they face, even outside of battle. Injuries can now vary greatly in their progression. Living conditions at the front give rise to all kinds of diseases and their consequences. Doctors and nurses in the field hospital do their utmost to prolong the soldiers’ lives with the few resources at their disposal, only to see the war put those lives at risk again the very next day.
After the battle, combat now transitions into a post-battle phase, during which equipment must be recovered, identity discs of the fallen collected, and further tasks completed. Visual rework and additional content further enhance this experience.
The core features of this update are:
New field hospital system with complications and additional forms of disablement
Complete reworking of injuries
Diseases that can occur in certain game situations
New game content during and after the battle
New journal entries on death, physical and mental illness, and disablity
Redesign of the field hospital’s appearance and further visual adjustments
