At the moment, things are progressing: as you can see, we're doing daily builds this week. Always a good sign, though this is not a general rule for our small team, we are just having a productive period at the moment ːscoreː.

A few more sound effects came through, some will stay – some will have to be redone. More edits of the rules, more fixes to the selection process (the heart of the game, really: being able to make quick decisions, and having the game auto-complete things that are obvious).
Something that we aim for with the Card Game is to retain the look & feel, and the UI traditions, of Gremlins, Inc., while building new things around that. So that if you played Gremlins, Inc., you will find the Card Game familiar in many aspects – some of the icons, the proportions of the cards, and the way the game suggests actions in progress.
Here's an example of notation we use in the Card Game:

You will notice some new icons, as well as some legacy solutions:
* a cost of playing the card that you cannot pay, is shown as crossed out;
* the cog icon on the card means it has special rules, and displays them;
* the "gain" section is at the bottom of the card, showing how much score you get;
* different card types have different colors of headers (black for projects, beige for action cards)
At the same time, there's more functionality, since the actions in the Card Game are more complex than in Gremlins, Inc. –
* a purple score icon indicates a potential to gain score depending on certain conditions
* you may be unable to play a card which you can pay for, if it's conditions are not met – this already works, but we need to add it to the UI (it will be a crossed-out cog icon)
* the cost of playing projects is shown dimmed because you pay for projects only after you start building them, so you have an "immediate cost" for action cards (you will pay this now) and the "future cost" for project cards (you will need to assemble those resources in order to complete the project later)
And it's like that throughout the whole game. The same most/least malice medal as in Gremlins, Inc. – but also, a new medal for most/least number of resources on projects.
