Greetings adventurers, to another Feature Reveal!
As you progress through the mountain system you will gather many items, some more, some less familiar. Also, you will find information in books, on old parchments, and otherwise. This will allow you to understand what was previously uncommon, wherefore you are well-advised to
INSPECT
your inventory every once in a while.
That was close! While gathering your spoils from the latest enemy encounter you hear hundreds of legs sprinting towards you. You snatch up the last coin, retrace your steps to distance yourself from the approaching noise, take a side path, and just master to quietly shut the door. As a horde - the footsteps unknown to your ears - rushes past. Now, in the dim light of your torch, you take the time to inspect your loot. Amongst it, you find a mysterious object, a long handle made from wood covered with scratches all over. However, the top and the base are neatly decorated with metal and now that you look at it closer it resembles a lever of some sort. Maybe there is a part missing to make it a whole? You decide to leave it in your inventory, for now, sure that once you've found the right information, it will be of more value than you attribute it at the moment.
