Hi, we've created a new beta of the game which we will be using for the latest patches before they are released. If you would like to preview what's coming and help us test new builds, please consider switching to this beta using the following process:
- Navigate to your Steam library.
- Right click on Void Bastards and select Properties.
- Select the Betas tab.
- Enter the super secret beta access code: voidbastards.
- Push the check code button.
- Now select prerelease - latest prerelease test build from the drop down menu.
- When you return to the library, Steam should now automatically download the latest prerelease build (assuming you have the game set to automatically update).
Note that this prelease build is exactly that. It may contain bugs or other errors so you should not install this beta if you are concerned about potentially losing your progress or otherwise experiencing problems with the game.
If you do wish to install this prerelease test beta you will greatly help us if you can report any issues with it in the forums or on our Discord. Please mark any such reports as "prerelease beta" so that we know which build of the game you are reporting on. You can also check the build version by opening the game console with Alt ~ and typing version.
Thanks for your help!
