[In-Game Build Version 1780]
General
Sky Improvements
Improved atmospheric rendering, eliminating visible seams between the horizon and the sky
Enhanced atmospheric algorithms for more realistic color representation
Adjusted overall sky art direction
Cloud Improvements
Clouds are now divided into three layers: high-level, mid-level, and low-level clouds, dynamically adjusted based on weather conditions to better match reality
Low-level clouds now use a ray-marching algorithm, featuring more realistic shapes and motion
Improved light transmittance for low-level clouds; during sunrise and sunset, with clear atmosphere and suitable cloud coverage, you can now witness spectacular “burning clouds”
Improved cloud shading to prevent excessively dark shadowed areas
Numerous additional cloud visual adjustments
Ocean Improvements
Reduced surface jitter under heavy wave conditions
Improved sky reflection on the sea surface
Enhanced light transmittance when facing the sun, allowing the sea to appear sapphire-clear during sunsets
Numerous additional ocean optimizations and visual improvements
Physically Based Bow Waves
Fully GPU-computed bow-wave effects, producing approximately correct wave behavior for small craft, destroyers, battleships, submarines, trimarans, and hydrofoils
Works with all waterline shapes: moving forward generates bow waves, moving backward generates stern waves; due to its physical basis, even collisions with wrecks will generate waves
Excellent performance; enabled by default going forward, with minimal frame-rate impact even in multi-ship combat scenarios
Bow waves conform perfectly to the sea surface at all wave heights; in stormy weather, you can even see spray generated as every part of your hull interacts with the water
Dockyard
Fixed an issue where incorrect initial part colors in the dockyard caused cascading color errors
Fixed an issue in mirror mode where adjusting the position/rotation of asymmetrical parts caused mirrored parts to lose their mirrored shape
Fixed an issue where the right-click menu in the save-folder view could sometimes be obscured by other UI elements
Parts
Fixed missing collision boxes when folding the dive-bomber variants of n998 and n999 F7F
Fixed an issue where changes to the Sea Hurricane takeoff method did not take effect
Fixed an issue where n1001 Nakajima B6N2 "Tenzan" Mod.12 Attacker (800kg Type.99 No.80 AP *1）incorrectly carried a high-explosive bomb
Fixed incorrect face normals on the turret base of n1017 German 283mm/50 SK L/50 (Drh LC/10 Two-gun Turret)
Fixed inconsistent rotation axes between the n1069 Anchor V (shank) and other anchor shank parts
Miscellaneous
Fixed seaplane catapults not functioning correctly in mirror mode
Fixed an issue where resetting camera FOV in the gallery did not also reset the ship selection box size
Input rollback behavior: keyboard shortcuts are now ignored while using text input fields

Career Mode
Career Mode is now available in the version 1.4 public beta branch.
The first chapter of the fictional campaign “Rapid Strike” is now open, featuring a total of 5 missions. At present, the campaign uses temporary English localization; existing text will be revised and replaced in future updates.
Note: As this mode is still under development, its mechanics and gameplay may undergo significant changes in later updates. Career save files may also be wiped.
