New Ancient Quality (Red Quality) Unlocked for Some Mercenaries
After combatting with the ancient bosses, those mercenaries with great wisdom learned to use the ancient power to enhance themselves. Thus their power has grown stronger so that they can better face the threat from the Devil’s realm.
As they are stronger now, they won’t want to work for every traveler, but only for those with greater power, so they can challenge stronger bosses and get more energy.
Travelers and their mercenaries can therefore learn and master the lost ancient energy, and imitate the ancient power, to become much more powerful than before.
These mercenaries will be upgraded to ancient quality after the update:
Arnaud, Brimstone, Ironheart, Dynor, Shari, and Draculis
Their growth rates are increased:
- Ironheart: Life increased from 1.05 to 1.1, Crit increased from 0.85 to 0.9
- Draculis: Attack increased from 1.45 to 1.5
- Dynor: Attack increased from 1.3 to 1.4, Crit increased from 1.15 to 1.25
- Arnaud: Attack increased from 0.9 to 1
- Shari: Defense increased from 0.8 to 0.9
- Brimstone: Attack increased from 0.85 to 0.9, Life increased from 1.1 to 1.15, Roughness increased from 1.15 to 1.2
Please note that ancient mercenaries will be hard to acquire. Here are the rules:
1. The total rate of getting ancient mercenaries from Taverna is 0.5%;
2. The total rate of getting regular 5-star mercenaries from Taverna is decreased from 5% to 4.5%;
3. Ancient mercenaries’ shards will be less likely to appear in Rogue Hero;
4. Ancient mercenaries’ shards will not be available in Lucky Cards;
5. From now on, players can purchase all the 4 and 5-star mercenary shards (except Norton’s) from the diamond shop if they own them already. 10 ancient mercenaries’ shards will cost 350 diamonds. The possibility for ancient mercenaries’ shards to show in the diamond shop is low.
Other than those, these following will be updated in the new patch as well:
1. New Content
- New avatars available now for Infinity Edge and each artifact after that. Players can choose to equip them.
2. Function Optimization
- Redone the visual display of Taverna while recruiting a mercenary.
- Redone the effects of rewind.
- To make it easier for players to track the tasks and collect rewards, guided tasks will be presented on the main interface following a certain order. Players can choose to close this function in settings.
- Optimized the display of “Choose Exploration Time” in Exploration Expedition to make it easier for players to operate.
- Now, mercenaries deployed can also be dispatched for Exploration Expeditions.
- Adjusted the order of dispatched mercenaries in the Manage Page of Role.
3. Mercenary Balance Adjusted
- Arnaud's 1st skill - Torrent
Summons a Current to randomly send an enemy flying, dealing Dark Damage equal to 352% Attack Power.

- Ironheart's 2nd skill - Explosive Mech
Increase base Dodge of robots summoned by Explosive Mech from 10 to 60
- Lloyd's ulti - Terrorize
Take a 40% reduction in Defense and Attack Speed to Terrorize nearby enemies for 10 sec, deceasing their Rage by 40% and dealing Earth Damage equal to 680% Attack Power.
Adjusted to
Take a 40% reduction in Health and Attack Speed to Terrorize nearby enemies for 10 sec, deceasing their Rage by 40% and dealing Earth Damage equal to 680% Attack Power. Attack Speed will restore after 10 sec.
- Dynor's 3rd skill - Piercing Shot
Dynor deals additional Damage equal to 120% Attack Power for every 12 Basic Attacks.
Adjusted to
Dynor deals additional Damage equal to 30% Attack Power for every 3 Basic Attacks.
