Hope you guys were all having fun in the Speed Run this week. And seems like you are all doing well. The new Arena season will start soon. And now, we can get excited about the League System which has been unlocked after yesterday's update.
There are three different types of leagues: League of Goldseekers, League of Hunters, and League of Duelists.
League of Goldseekers event, Mine Expedition, will start first. And the other two will start in the next two weeks. The three league events will take place on a rotating weekly schedule.
League system are already opened for players to create their own leagues now. You can start inviting others and get ready for the event.
1. League of Goldseekers
Each League of Goldseekers can have up to 10 members. Members will take part in the Mine Expedition.
Unlock Date
Mine Expedition will be opened first. It will officially start on July 25th.
Each event lasts 7 days, and closed for 14 days. Each league can register for the event any time during the closed time. After each event starts, players will have 2 hours for matching and 8 hours for preparation.
Mine Expedition Rules
All the leagues will be matched into groups of four. If a group has less than four leagues, these leagues will be added into one of the other groups. So, one group will have mostly seven leagues.
Each player will choose up to two mercenaries to send for mining. If a mercenary has been sent by one of the other members, then this mercenary cannot be sent again. The higher the level and quality of the mercenaries, the faster they will mine.
The leader of the league will pick the target. If the target is chosen by other leagues first, league leader will have to choose a different one. Each league can only have one target at one time, and each target will only reward one type of resource.
During the mining, each league will just wait for the mining team to progress. The amount of rewards will be based on the progress, the number of leagues participating, and the average league level.
League leader can set bombs at certain targets to disturb enemy leagues’ progress.
Rewards
Gold Ore – Can be used to reduce the consumption of Coins
Iron Essence – Can be used to reduce the consumption of Dark Iron
Wraithstone – Can be used to reduce the consumption of Soul
2. League of Hunters
Each League of Hunters can have up to 10 members. Members can take part in Monster Hunting
Unlock Date
Officially unlocked on August 1st. Each event lasts 7 days, and closed for 14 days. Each league can register for the event any time during the closed time. After each event starts, players will have 2 hours for matching and 8 hours for preparation.
Monster Hunting Rules
All the leagues will be matched into groups of four. If a group has less than four leagues, these leagues will be added into one of the other groups. So, one group will have mostly seven leagues.
During the event, players will face monsters all by themselves while challenging them.
Each time, there will be 10 monsters for players to challenge. Players shall pick the monsters based on their difficulty. The harder the monsters are, the more rewards players will get. Players will have limited number of chances to challenge. Each failure will cost a chance. But they can challenge the same monster multiple times.
Each monster can only be challenged by one player at one time. Players need to pick the monsters fast in case someone else beats them fist. Monsters that got beaten will be refreshed.
Each monster has some elemental resistance. Using the mercenaries with restrained element will help reduce the difficulty.
Rewards
Players will get rewarded with skillbooks. Skillbooks can be used to upgrade the skills of mercenaries and main character’s artifacts.
3. League of Duelists
Each League of Duelists can have up to 20 members. Members can take part in League Supremacy.
Unlock Date
Officially unlocked on August 8th. Each event lasts 9 days, and closed for 12 days. Each league can register for the event any time during the closed time. After each event starts, players will have 2 hours for matching and 8 hours for preparation. Event of League of Duelists will have two days overlay with the event of League of Goldseekers.
League Supremacy Rules
Each event matches 6 leagues together for a tournament. Each two leagues will fight each other.
Each player will have some points when the event starts. During the event, each player can pick an enemy player to attack. If he wins, he will get one point, and if he fails, he loses one. Players with 0 point can still be challenged, but the challengers will not earn any point if they win.
League leaders can assign a general and three vice generals during the preparing phase. Challengers who beat them will get more points.
Elemental Refine
Elemental Stats are special stats for League of Duelists. Players can refine these stats in the element page of main character and mercenaries. Glory Medals can be used to increase the damage and resistance of an element. Unity Medals can be used to increase Accuracy and Dodge.
Please note that elemental damage can only work for mercenaries with the same elements. For example, if you want to refine elemental stats for Eva, who is a water element mercenary, then refining elemental damage of any element other than water would be pointless. There is no such limitation on elemental resistance.
How is the winner decided?
1. Leagues with more points will win
2. If two leagues have the same number of points, the one whose general gets more points will win
3. If the generals’ points are again the same, then the system will take a look at the total points of all the vice generals.
4. If everything is the same, then it’s a draw game. (Loss for both team, and no extra points for either league)
Rewards
Participating in League Supremacy will reward players with Glory Medals, Unity Medals, and Shimmering Sundew. Glory Medals and Unity Medals can be used for elemental refine.
