Greeting Warlords
Today we want to bring you our plan for Warlords Awakening for both the immediate short term and our longer term updates and changes. We have been gathering data over the past week to determine the best plan of action with regards to the changes and hope that you will stick with us in our journey to make Warlords Awakening the best gaming experience for you.
Development Roadmap
We have broken down our roadmap into three timelines:
- Immediate Changes (Throughout August)
- Content Update (End of August)
- Future Content
1. Immediate Changes (Throughout August)
- Item Crafting – Currently when you craft an item/weapon, Blood Knight and Guard is the default option for crafting. This will be changed so you no longer experience this problem.
- Dungeon Keys – The tooltips for Dungeon Key materials will be updated so that the location of where to acquire these materials is added.
- Level 25 Quest Guide – After reaching level 25, an additional quest will be given that will guide you to the next zone, regardless if Kuntara is killed or not.
- Item Box Looting – We understand that opening each box individually has been an annoying feature of the game. The update will bring forth the option to open boxes automatically when picked up.
- Costumes – Cosmetic costumes will be added to the Cash Shop.
These changes will be implemented over the next 2-3 weeks before our larger content update toward the end of August.
2. Content Update (End of August)
- Raid Dungeons – Raid dungeons will be added. After reaching level 40, they can be entered and raids will allow up to 8 man parties.
- Ranked Dungeon Mode – Ranked Dungeon progression will be added, and rewards will be given to the top 10 ranking groups on a regular basis. This time interval is yet to be solidified.
- Gold Economy – We understand that there are currently issues with acquiring gold in game. Modifying this aspect of the game must be done carefully as to not overinflate the amount of gold users can acquire, and then having to dial it back. We are working on a number of possible solutions to make gold acquisition better and more enjoyable for our players.
- Boss Balance – We understand that many users have faced much difficulty leading up to and reaching level 25, especially with dungeons and bosses. Hardcore users have been able to surpass this hurdle, but more casual users are having severe difficulty. In light of this issue, we want to address some content for these earlier levels so that they can reach the end content for Warlords Awakening, but end content difficulty will not be changed. Boss balance for levels 25 and under will be modified. The difficulty of the “Secret Forest”, “Hidden Ruins”, and “Kuntara’s Hideout” dungeons will be rescaled with less attack damage to make it easier to complete. Kuntara’s Hideout will also drop 2 unique items 100% of the time and Dungeon Keys will also be easier to obtain. This method of keeping end game content difficult while easing up on earlier content for new users/characters will continue as the level cap is increased and more content is added.
3. Future Content
- PvP Updates – We have intents to add additional PvP content, but the exact details of such changes are not finalized.
- Bug & Fixes – As the game continues to develop, we will continue to fix minor issues that cause inconveniences or problems while playing Warlords Awakening.
We will of course keep you up to date with the exact changes and patch notes as they come.
