Hi All!
Did you check the Indie Live Expo II broadcast today? A lot of amazing news from KADOKAWA and Gotcha Gotcha Games Inc., developers of Pixel Game Maker MV, have been announced.
Here is the link to the replay: Indie Live Expo II
As you can read on the title, we are organizing a new contest, the Pixel Game Maker MV Game Development Challenge 2020, on itch.io.
The grand prize, this time, is a publishing proposal from Gotcha Gotcha Games Inc. for Switch and from PLAYISM for Steam.
Finalists will also receive the feedback from the judges on their games, a great opportunity to have your game played by recognized games creators.
While last contest featured Rafael Grasseti, IGA, Takumi Naramura and Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya, the final list of the judges for this year is yet to be announced.
However, you can already expect the return of Takumi Naramura (La-Mulana 2) as judge as well as Richard Lems, the creator of the highly-anticipated Mighty Goose, to give their feedback to the finalists!
And that is not all! To accompany you in your game creation, popular YouTube creators Extra Credits will host weekly streams showcasing PGMMV on their Twitch channel as they make a game from scratch. Please follow them on Twitch!
As usual, you can share your work in progress with the PGMMV Twitter using #PGMMVGameDevChallenge
Another thing! Game creators will now be able to apply directly to Gotcha Gotcha Games for Nintendo Switch publishing!
All you have to do is to register to this dedicated website to get all the information you need.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on Twitter, Steam forums or on our customer support address [email protected].
We sincerely hope that you will have fun tackling this new Game Development Challenge and can't wait to discover what YOU will prepare using Pixel Game Maker MV!
