Hi everyone,
We would like to thank you, once again, for using Pixel Game Maker MV and hope you are enjoying the experience!
Since the release of Pixel Game Maker MV, we've received many requests for users to be able to try this software before buying it. Well, here's your chance! From today until the 19th March 10AM PST, you'll be able to download and try Pixel Game Maker MV for free.
REMIX Game Jam
We took this opportunity to launch our very first Game Jam to encourage users everywhere to try their hand at video game creation. For this Game Jam, we're asking you to remix the existing sample games in the software, while giving them your own spin. This means using some of the assets included in Pixel Game Maker MV to create something of your own. You can check the exact requirements and rules here, but please ask us anything not stated there in the comments below!
From all the submissions we receive (if they abide by the rules and terms linked above), the Pixel Game Maker MV team will be choosing their favorite and will be giving the community the chance to vote on their favorite as well. These two winners announced at the end of April, will have their project showcased at this year's BitSummit in Kyoto, Japan's biggest indie game show, which will take place the weekend of June 1st-2nd, 2019.
How to enter the Game Jam
Submissions will be accepted by email only.
[email protected]
Please include “Pixel Game Maker MV Remix Game Jam Submission” in the subject line and either attach the project archive to the email (for sizes under 10 MB), or include a link to download the project. All submissions and related matters will be handled by the game jam operator, Active Gaming Media Inc.
If you enjoy working with Pixel Game Maker MV during this week, you can get it for 25% off - the biggest discount we've had so far! Sale ends March 19th at 10AM PST.
For any questions related to the contest, please leave them down below! If you can't participate this time, don't worry since we'll have other opportunities for you in the future!
