We have been having some users have issues connecting controllers to the game. This is a big issue as Drink Inc. is meant for using controllers and local play. Update 0.7.1 addresses some of these issues and we hope will fix many of the controller problems that some of our users are having.
How-To Guide on Setting up Controllers
If you are having issues connecting controllers, go to the following forum on how to get Drink Inc setup for you. Go Here
CHANGES
- Added XInput capability. Check the main menu->options to turn this ability on. Only turn this on if you have connection issues, or if you only have 4 users playing and want vibrations ːsteamhappyː
- Added Keyboard Controls (preliminary) Keyboard controls are now available. We added this feature in early to help the users with controller issues. You are welcome to use the keyboard to play the game but we currently do not recommend it as the keyboard is not configurable. More on this here
- Fixed bug where Pizza character's face item would not show in game.
COMING UP
- Profiles! The ability to save a profile and keep the same character layout each time. You can currently hit X to randomize if you don't feel like setting a player up but still want some change.
- Stats Each profile will also have stats. Ex) how many times you died, how many drinks taken etc. Let us know if you have any stats you would like recorded. If it isn't too crazy of a stat, we would love to add it.
- Xbox Demo Release We are finishing up the Xbox build and will be releasing the demo soon!
Thank you guys and hope you continue enjoying Drink Inc! Please help us by reporting bugs. You can also give us feedback on what you'd like to see added to the game as well! We want our fans to be part of the development and make Drink Inc the best local party game ever.
