This is a small update that brings a handful of nice improvements in the meantime while the larger updates for later this year are still being worked on.
Notable things include
- Anonymize Names (aka Streamer Mode) - Toggle this On or Off under Options -> Online. This will turn disguise all player names on the UI to avoid privacy concerns for players recording or broadcasting content.

- Added new sounds on Main menu load in
- Change death sounds slightly to be more impact sounds and less screeching sounds
- Revived the old “use ability” dragon vocalizations but with more up to date attentuation

- Improved visibility on LOW MAGIC indicator
- Adjusted scoreboard positioning/size
- Further reduced bots chattiness
- Renamed a few menu buttons for more clarity
- Fixed an issue where Leave Game confirmation would open twice if chosen with a mouse, causing loss of input if the player tried to cancel
- Fixed places in the game that showed your Level incorrectly (+1 what it should’ve been)
- Fixed several instances in the game where progress bars for XP were calculated incorrectly to due using deprecated code
- Set default Level to 0, instead of 1; You will notice you are -1 level from where you were before. That is actually a correction, not a demotion.
- Fixed a bug where multiple revisits to the customize menu would duplicate the character display model
- Added stats of how many unlocks you have claimed on the customize menu, per category
- Add scroll control detail to Customize menu
- Add shadows/improved layout to Customize menu
- Added animations to Customize menu UI
- Fixed audio and HUD issues on moving to customize menu
- Added gamepad button for tailstrike in Controls help screen to match the existing keybindings & what’s shown in Options menu
- Removed a default spore claim slot which caused issues with the newer Lairworld entry logic
- You can now trigger pyrite with melee hits
- Revised some post processing effects
- Improved some layout sizes and anchoring in Main menu buttons list
- Improved some layout anchoring in Guide menu
- Updated the “Defeat” music played on match result screen to be the correct one, was previously using the same music for both Victory and Defeat when a Defeat track existed
What's coming?
Working hard at delivering the following things:
- Single player challenges/mode
- Improved dragon (about 60% there)
- New maps
- New cosmetics and cosmetic types (being designed)
- New magic behaviors and a new magic type (designed, building)
- New perks and abilities (designed)
- New game modes (5-6 new game modes, some are already being tested)
I may be making changes to the way commits and roadmap works in the near future, but trying to find a way that doesn't vaporize these old links.
Hope you enjoy these updates!
See you in the arenas,
