This is it, everyone! Just one day remains until we hit that big red launch button. Let’s take this opportunity to go over what you can expect from launch.
- One large open world zone to explore
- Character creation and customization
- Melee and ranged combat, including dual wielding options (yes, even shields)
- Mounts
- Quests (plenty of these)
- Online co-op multiplayer with friends
- Factions you can join and progress in
- Mining and woodcutting
...just to name a few.
As we begin our Early Access journey, you can expect some pretty hefty content patches moving forward. We hope you’re as excited as we are for Swords ‘n Magic to take shape. Early patch priorities for us include:
- Player housing
- Crafting
- Mac support
And of course, there will be plenty more content down the line. Just you wait. Keep your eyes out for our Early Access roadmap in the coming days!
Since the very start, Swords ‘n Magic and Stuff has been built hand-in-hand with the community, live on Twitch. These development streams aren’t going anywhere, so if you’d like to check in on the progress of the game or even just fancy a peek behind the curtain, make sure to drop in and say hi. We’ll be streaming some developer commentary right as the game launches, too.
Now that launch is so very near, our Discord server is a great place to find people to party up with. Come make friends and invite them to join your world. Discord is also the place to share a link if you’re planning on streaming or creating video coverage of Swords ‘n Magic and Stuff.
Okay, please join me in taking a deep breath as I set a timer for 24 hours from now. See you soon!
