The Northern Lights carry many ancient and profound symbolisms that have spanned centuries to enchant us with their beauty and mysteries.
For the Sámi, the Guovssahas is the presence of the Spirits of the Dead in the sky, and caution and respect are necessary in their presence.
In Finnish culture, the Revontulet is caused by fire foxes running through the snow, throwing sparks into the sky with their tails.
And the Vikings believed that it was the shining armor of the Valkyries leading fallen warriors to Odin's halls.
