Hello Everyone!
Todays update introduces a few follow up feature to the last update. Please see the changelog below.
- Added Database Upgrade Tool
The Database Upgrade Tool is an easy way to update Game Server Toolboxs Database to the latest version without losing your servers, server files, server profiles, and settings.
- Added Server Profile Filter
The Server Profile Filter is an easy way to search the server profiles list by a custom text or game search.
- Added Port Forwarding Information Dialog
The Port Forwarding Information Dialog is a window that pops up after the server creation process giving you instructions on what ports need top be forwarded for your server. It also contains a helpful link that brings you to a website that shows you how to port forward on your router with pictures.
- Added Server Profile Manager
The Server Profile Manager allows you to manage and upload server profiles. You can create and upload a server profile form an existing game server or delete a currently uploaded profile. This feature is great for the community to start adding more server profiles to the list!
- Added Windows Version Detection
Windows detection warns the user if he or she is running the software on a operating system other than windows 10. Game Server Toolbox has not been tested on operating systems other than windows 10. But we do plan on expanding support to other operating systems in the future.
- Added Loading Dialog
The Loading Dialog informs the user of the startup process of Game Server Toolbox as it can take a second or two to start up.
- Added Early Access Dialog
The Early Access Dialog was added to remind people that Game Server Toolbox is still in development and is not the final product. It also asks users to kindly report the bugs to us.
- Added Video Tutorial Dialog
The Video Tutorial Dialog showcases our latest overview and tutorial of Game Server Toolbox.
Thats it for this update! For the next few weeks we will be working on adding more official server profiles and a video tutorial on how and where to download server files if they are not available in the Steam client.
This means you may not see a content update from us for 2-4 weeks as adding server profiles does not require an update to Game Server Toolbox.
