It's been a while since we posted an update, so here's a quick one. As you are probably aware, the development is progressing at a steady but SLOW pace - we've ran into some unanticipated hurdles, mostly dealing with complexities of astrodynamics and related physics. It is, after all, rocket science ːsteamhappyː
However, I'm happy to say that most of them have now been resolved. The only thing left to resolve are recovery dynamics (physics of parachute deployment) and the physics of splashdown buoyancy (yes, we could have just plopped down the capsule into the ocean straight and level, but our physics library handles buoyancy very nicely, so we decided to add that into the feature set for the demo)
Also - the proper installer is almost done! With all this in place, we will soon have a limited feature FREE demo that will take the user through the full rocket launch sequence, orbit, de-orbit and splash down!
The only thing that will be missing is the proper automated guidance module - user will have to manually steer the rocket to a desired orbit. But no worries, we've made a slew of new MFD modes that will guide you to a nice, steady orbit with great precision - it will just require a bit of manual pitch control to get it just right!
We do apologise for the delay and truly appreciate your continued support! Hang in, we're almost there!
