How We Determine the Winner
• An update will be posted to the demo (both the Steam and Direct Download versions) at 1:00 AM Central Daylight Time. In this update, a code will be included at the bottom of the demo completion screen, which Kip will use to determine the winner.
• The player that can beat the demo at the highest difficulty level will win the competition.
• In the case of a tie in difficulty level, Kip will refer to how long it took each player in the tie-breaker to beat the demo, how much damage the player took, as well as other similar categories. All of these additional scores will be included in the code. The player with the higher performance, considering all tie-breaker categories, wins.
• Submissions with seemingly impossible results (suggesting cheating) may be required to submit a video of a comparable performance.
• Kip will announce the winner in a Kickstarter and Steam update on Wednesday, 1/31/18. Upon making contact with the winner, the award payment will be made within one week.
