BETA Branch Release (December 23rd)
First of all, I want to thank everyone that has helped us with feedback, positive and negative. It helps us shape Ezbench. We have some major long-term plans in the works for a new and improved Ezbench in the future, but these are things that take time. It will be worth it in the end. However:
A major update to Ezbench is coming. Some important changes will affect everyone.
To make sure these updates are working well - we will be releasing a BETA Branch the 23rd of December. With goals of final release in January.
Update Notes:
We are upgrading Ezbench to Unreal Engine 5.1 - which will substantially increase the performance and stability across the board. This means that old results will not be comparable anymore. *
We are removing the island scene. It will be replaced by a stress test based on Quixel Megascans.
- Better performance opening for stress test on lower end systems.
- Still maintains a high level of stress even for the highest end systems.
- Leverages new incredibly powerful Nanite Foliage.
- Billions of polygons, 8K Virtual Textures, Raytracing.
Asset wireframe example:
We are adding a GPU Particle Test Scene:
- Featuring giant swarms of Niagara particle system meshes.
- GPU Rendered, Deterministic Random Seed.
- Billion+ polygons, 8K Virtual textures, Raytracing.
Additional changes:
- Fix for the 5120x1440p 32:9 bug that would sometimes invalidate results.
- Backend anti-tamper stuff.
- Nvidia DLSS Update
- Nvidia RTX SDK Update
