Exciting news, everyone! There are now more than 400 people who own Cross of Auria! The continued growth of CoA comes as a delight at a time when I'm contemplating what comes next. So, let's dig in a little bit.
I consider the first chapter (everything currently in the game) to be as complete as it can be at this stage and with the free time I have in terms of the story, but there's a lot that still needs to be done. I'm not going to spoil too much of it, but keep your eyes on the Cross of Auria official YouTube page (at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGxc2-7sJbZ9L3Lpgak43XA ) for more detailed visual information.
What I can tell you... There is much more to go! My initial vision saw this game with at least 1,000 quests and functioning as an open world. I still plan to accomplish this, but it's taking time. In the more immediate future, I have planned another activity in Agartha. The storyboarding is almost finished, and development will not take too long once it begins. A greatly expanded version of this activity is planned for release on iOS/Android for 2019. This mobile release will take place outside the linear confines of the CoA story.
That's all for now, expect more updates (patch notes or otherwise) in the next few weeks once my schedule from the holidays frees up.
Summary:
• Playable events from start of game to before Veil 3 considered finalized unless bugs are discovered moving forward.
• The third iteration of the Veil may see more added to it soon, so be sure to keep a pre-Veil save.
• Another activity will be coming to Agartha in the next few weeks. This will serve as an Alpha test for a planned mobile app set to be released in 2019.
• Kara's story is being written. More on that soon.
• Additions to The Pit and the Colosseum are in the brainstorming phase. It would greatly help to see some of you in your attempts to clear these activities - so feel free to reach out at www.facebook.com/CrossOfAuria with any YouTube videos you've made regarding anything CoA, especially the Agartha activities!
• Much more is being planned, but I won't share it until we're closer to a release.
• The next patch may see a reduction in storage requirements, provided I can set it up the right way.
