Hello everyone and welcome to Oddinary Highway Biweekly update!
Anton here. In this update I will cover recent developments of Oddinary Highway.
As I have mentioned in previous video, there is new level modifier in development. This level modifier is affecting default behavior of secondary item crystals.
To remind, player has a secondary item. It could be the drone with machine gun, decoy or another helpful item. Player should collect special crystals to charge the secondary. And when the charge level is 100%, it can be activated. Crystals are dropped from killed enemies and periodically during the boss fight. Once the secondary is used, it is replaced with a new random item.
And how does the new level modifier change it? Crystals are pulled to the player from particular distance. This helps to collect them easier. Level modifier does opposite. When player moves around, crystals are pushed away from the hover car. Once player is still, original behavior is back. We hope, new level modifier makes gameplay a bit more challenging, but not frustrating.
