Dear players!
It is impossible to express the pride and joy of the entire Crazy Rocks team when we learned about the nomination for this year's Steam award! It is the greatest honor we could ever imagine and a beautiful tribute to those six years of hard, work we put into Contraband Police! I would like to express my gratitude to You, the best gaming community in the world! You helped us conduct efficient playtests, provided us with invaluable feedback, and ultimately voted for our game to be nominated this year. You gave us the best gift for Christmas!
Crazy Rocks is a small studio from Poland that I founded in 2015 out of my passion for games, being a part of my life since I received a Commodore 64 for Christmas :) The Contraband Police project started in 2017, initially developed by just two people (myself and my former partner). During production, 5 very talented individuals have joined the team! Originally, it was meant to be a simple simulator, but my unstoppable desire to create a Magnum Opus took over...
It was very important for me to use many diverse mechanics that would pleasantly surprise and complement the routine actions typical of simulators. At the same time, out of pure respect for video games, I placed great emphasis on the quality and precision of all implemented elements. In this way, we managed to create a new, hybrid type of simulator with a semi-open world, set in an atmospheric universe filled with action and story. It was an incredible journey into the unknown, supported by the faith of the entire dev team, our wonderful community, as well as Playway S.A. - our understanding investors!
The number of copies sold and the high game rating is already a great reward for our contribution and dedication. In gratitude for such a good reception, we have already released 2 free expansions-modes since the game's release 9 months ago. The nomination for the Steam award simply exceeded my wildest expectations...
We are delighted that you enjoyed our game so much and were pleasantly surprised by its innovative gameplay!
Please give us your votes In this final round of the Steam Awards competition!
Thank you,
Stan & Crazy Rocks Team
