Dear players,
On today's new update, we decided to delay the server maintenance period due to unforeseen technical problems in order to provide a more stable gaming experience for our players. However, we made a very serious mistake: we did not to realize that in the recent announcement we made about our new gamemode, we specifically stated that this gamemode will be released on December 22, and completely forgot about the issue of time zone differences.
Since we provide Ring of Elysium to players living in different time zones around the globe, we failed to do our jobs, which is to carefully make development plans, meet our deadlines, and notify all players as soon as possible when we make any changes.
After we posted our patch notes announcement (which was already too late). We noticed that a group of NA and EU players has already been waiting for hours because they wanted to play this new gamemode so badly, and eventually got an extremely disappointing response. This all happened solely due to our negligence.
Thus, we want to express our most sincere apologies for all the problems caused by our mistakes on this update. All members of the ROE Dev team have reflected on our mistakes profoundly. In our future updates and server maintenances, we will be more cautious to avoid similar situations from happening to the best of our ability.
