Hello Diesel-Maniacs!
Some time ago I've promised to share tools that will allow community members to localize the game into their local languages. Today is the day!
I also know that you are not entirely satisfied with some existing translations. It would mean a world to us if you gave us a hand in spotting and correcting the mistakes.
If you followed Gold Rush, then you should already know that we'll be happy to give some incentives in return for your help and add you to game's Credits.
So if you're up for the challenge, register on POEditor (the external tool we use) and join the Diesel Brothers project in your native language:
https://poeditor.com/join/project/VvguZz2DA1
I will have to manually approve your translating permissions, so give me up to 24h (usually takes way less) to verify your accounts. Then you're good to go!
If you have any questions, please hit me up on Discord: https://discord.gg/GcTAeZ3
or e-mail: [email protected]
I have also set up translation channels on Discord, where you can get in touch with other translators. They are exclusive for members with the Translator role, which I'll be happy to assign you.
Important: The content of []<>{} brackets should not be translated. Please copy it (with brackets).
The languages we need support with:
Proofreading:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Russian
- Spanish
Translation (as requested):
- Chinese (simplified)
- Czech
- Dutch
- Greek
- Norwegian
- Romanian
- Swedish
We will create a separate branch on Steam, where you'll be able to test your localizations in the game. We will be updating it from time to time on your request.
And also, if you're willing to localize the game into a language that's not listed, please message me!
Thank you in advance :)
Cheers,
Luke |CM|
