After working hard for the past month and thanks to the suggestions from you guys, the Rapid Tap Multiplayer Open Beta is now up!
To access the beta build, right-click Rapid Tap in your game's list, select Properties, go to the Betas tab, and select "multibeta" from the dropdown menu. There's no code needed, so just leave that blank and hit the check code button and then it should download the multiplayer branch. Still confusing? Check out my twitter video showing you how to do it. While you're there, hit that follow button too, if you want.
Bugs are expected, but its encouraged that you find them and let me know about them in any way you can. You can post about it on the Steam discussions, talk to me on Twitch, or DM me on Twitter.
I'll be making changes and fixes to this branch as fast as a one-man dev can. I appreciate all your help and your patience during this beta and I can't wait to get these changes onto the live game once I've ironed out all the kinks.
There will also be some other changes to the game that aren't just multiplayer, such as a new scoring system in solo Rapid Tap. In that, now your score is just the number of successful clicks instead of multiplying it by a combo and speed and other factors. Means theirs a whole new leaderboard to fight for #1 in too, so get to grinding gamers.
Any suggestions you guys can give or bugs you can find for me would be a huge help. Thank you.
Enjoy, and have fun!
