Missions
- Added a new system for fixed storyline missions. Currently this is just a simple newbie tutorial but we will be adding something for all levels in the near future
- There are a bunch of new mission types added to the random generation system
- NPCs now have an icon notifying you whether or not they have something new for you (new mission, completion reward etc)
- Identical items now stack in your inventory in the same way as the stash
- Missions now display the actual EXP reward you will receive after applying your bonuses
Balance
- Rewards for challenge events (purple zones) were increased by a large margin to make them feel more rewarding
- Several less popular uniques were buffed. Note these changes will only affect newly looted items, not the existing ones in circulation.
- Backpacks now have trade limits which was done to try and keep their value up.
Bug Fixes & Performance
- A bug that prevented the Stalker spawning when reading the relevant book was fixed
- Several memory leaks have been fixed which should improve performance and prevent crashing
- Bosses spamming their special attacks in MP should now be fixed
- Names of character and buildings get mixed up should be fixed
- Several minor performance improvements were made
- Fixed various visual issues with certain character cosmetics
- Several optimizations were made to the server
NOTE: You will need to quit the game client and install the update on Steam before theses changes take effect. If the game fails to update, logging out of Steam and back in again usually does the trick.
