Some users have reported slowdown when large numbers of bombs explode. This update improves the performance of the explosion rendering code, and also adds a new option to the options screen which lets users reduce the quality of the explosion effects to improve performance further.
This update also contains the following bug fixes:
Fixed a bug where, after picking up a plasma orb in any level, it would be impossible to drop any item on the square the orb was picked up from.
Fixed a bug where gamepads would only be recognized if they were already connected when the game was started. Gamepads are now also recognized if they are connected while the game is running.
