Hello there.
We are still developing the systems in the previous news article; several roadblocks were crossed and now we are happy to announce that the merchant system is relatively stable. Our next step is implementing a dialogue system that will also be used by the players to talk with their soldiers. The dialogues with the merchants are very well-developed, and you can get a great idea on how the world of Rise of the Foederati works from multiple choices.
The currency system has been reworked and now currency is a physical item. Different coins can stack in multiple amounts. The physicality is a way forward to make the game more lively, replacing the old "credit" system. In the future, there'll be a wage system to pay your own soldiers, the change being important for this.
Tarraconensis, the province, has been drawn, and players will now be able to fight off in the plains of Caesaraugusta to conquer it. It should take a few months to finish this system, but will be a great predecessor to our planned territorial conquest game mode.

Our plans to redesign the current tribal selection and game modes is under way; both us and the players are not happy with the current system that forces you to choose a tribe everytime you play. A Profile system will be implemented where players can make up to two warbands from up to two different tribes, a primary and secondary warband system where you can use and play them as you see fit, gaining progress as you play. The primary warband is the one you want to focus the most, since it will be the one you gain awards from the tournaments.
Unit looting has been post-poned until we figure out if the current market system works.
And before we get into the subject of the title, we are happy to announce the remake of the Visigoth Hundafaths (Captain) is nearly over. This is a peek of his new animations.

Finally, the fifth tribe. Anyone can come to this link and vote on the tribe you feel like it identifies with you the most. Use the link below and vote, we will close the voting one month before starting its development.

As the poll says; Alans are Sarmatian nomads with lots of focus on cavalry. They occupy the area in-between the Burgundians and Taifals in Gaul.
Taifals are very similar to Alans, but have Gothic influence on them, so they are slightly more inclined to use infantry than the Alans. They occupy the western-most area of the Lugdunensis province in Gaul.
Burgundians re well-rounded with a slight focus on infantry and cavalry and less in ranged combat. They occupy an area in the western-most borders of the Roman Empire.
Alemanians have very similar combat style to the Burgundians, but have slightly better cavalry and less-than-decent ranged combat units. They occupy the northern section of the Alps.
Armoricans are ranged combat-focused with decent cavalry. They occupy the northwestern peninsula in Gaul, in what is today modern Brittany.
We do not have artwork ready for any of these tribes. It's kind of a blind shot for those voting, but we are going to add their backstory on our official website in the coming months. Since its a semi-long-term poll, we expect people to vote when they feel ready. In the end, all tribes will be implemented. As always, thank you guys for the patience. We have little to show in the way of graphics, but after our update is ready, there'll be plenty of new things to do.
