Update 1.2.0

Hello there, we have been working, and this is the second big update for the game. We decided to call it 1.2.0 due to the amount of background networking changes and improvements. Because of the amount of problems of the old systems, there was a need to make everything from the ground up, and our programmer decided to do exactly that. Next updates will also be crucial for the game, opening spaces for more intricate mechanics.

It is taking longer than expected to make the unit development coding, since most of our time was used to stabilize player vs player networking, so please apologize our delay. If all things go well from this update on, we might be able to catch up to our timeline in a month or two.

  • Added: Difficulty levels for PVE, difficulty level affects the generated AI's warband equipment quality, units levels, weapon/defense proficiencies (currently, more difficult battles means the enemy will deploy more levelled units with better equipment).
  • Changed: Buffs/Debuffs Icons are grouped by source now.
  • Changed: AI warband is always fresh (Non-Progressive) and it reflects the difficulty level selected.
  • Changed: Networking infrastructure is revamped to fix multiple performance, delays and syncing issues.
  • Changed: Slightly reduced sounds of horses when moving in trot speed. Galloping remains unchanged (effectively making galloping a horse louder, as it should be)
  • Changed: Rain sounds should be more subtle.
  • Fixed: Basque Lancer units were moving too slowly.
  • Fixed: Small jilting in Basque Lancer's Idle animation
  • Fixed: Map descriptions for the Franks.
  • Fixed: Ranged weapon's attacks information like range and range decay were not shown in examine panel for weapons that are melee and ranged like Javelins.
  • Fixed: Authority points were using wrong calculations against the unit's charisma.
  • Fixed: Damage was always being clamped to 1/4 its value (probably the reason why battles were taking so long).
