Hello everyone,
For this week's news blast, we're going to be doing something a little different and sharing a bit of what we have been working on.
As you know, we recently had a pretty successful demo that was playable during the Steam Game Festival, and from that, we received a lot of feedback. Since the event ended, we have been hard at work gradually going through what you told us and working on improving our game.
So, how does this relate to this week's article? Well, we are going to give you a sneak peek into the work that we have been doing.
Updating Icons
Starting with something light-hearted - the icons in our game are getting a big overhaul. Why is that you ask? Well, we received some very interesting feedback that led to a 'once seen, it can't be unseen' moment.

It was pointed out to us that the original icon (see on the bottom) resembled a pair of pants.
Of the 9 new options, which do you like the most?
Improving the Visual Effects
Pretty much all of the Visual Effects (VFX) are getting a touch-up. That said, thanks to the feedback we received, we have a clear starting point - the special attacks.
Here you can see a small sample of what we have been working on.
What's more, as well as upgrading the effects for the Trishul, we also went straight to work improving the other weapons in the game. (The bow and an as-of-yet unrevealed weapon!)
AI Improvements
Moving to something that affects the actual gameplay directly. This is something that has been on our to-do list for quite a while, the AI that controls the demons are getting an update. So watch out, Raji is going get a bit more challenging!
Though we don't have a way to show you what this looks like just yet, we thought that it would be an interesting point for you to know nonetheless!
That said, we are looking for fun ways to show and explain the changes that we're making to the AI, it will just need a bit more organizing from our side.
So that's it for this week's update, we hope that you've enjoyed getting to know a bit more of what we have been working on.
And remember everyone, take care, stay safe, and wash your hands!
