Hello Survivors!
Today in our Devlog we wanted to show you the longest (so far 😉) gameplay video from Uragun. If you are checking our Steam announcements and social media profiles regularly, you’ve probably noticed that the design of our demo level is getting more and more polished. Still, the gameplay footage you are going to see is just from the pre-alpha version, so there’s a lot work to do before us. However, we are very happy that we can show you some bigger part of gameplay.

As you can see, the main objective of this particular demo fragment is to capture the landing pad for 30 seconds and survive all this time, when swarms of enemies are trying to stop you by - simply – destroying you 😊
On the video our mech is using two kinds of guns, so you can see two different ammos being used:
- Minigun – the first one, with the largest number of bullets
- Bolter – grenade launcher, currently OP, but we’re still working on balance
- There’s going to be third kind of weapon – railgun, but it’s still in progress. However, it’s icon is already visible on UI.
There are also a few new types of enemies already in this game. We are still working on making them more diverse, because right now all of them looks very similar to each other. So on the video we have:
- Spider Drones – well known type of enemies from our first Devlog, the fastest and attacking in swarms
- Ball/Bomb – bigger than Spider Drones exploding balls
- Shooter – enemies attacking from the distance, shooting missiles. Currently portrayed as a placeholder tank-looking block
- Scout – enemies who are running in lines, resist to some of the special abilities our mech is going to use.
Speaking about special abilities – on the video we are using two of them:
- Hammer jump – keeps opponents away and destroys Spider Drones
- Bait – as it’s name says, bait to keep enemies away from our mech.
