Update (17/10/20) - 0.4.7

Hello!

A small update adding the first pass on the player statistics.

The game now records every time you attempt a level, or complete it, the time spent playing it and the number of times you died.

This is a per-level statistic, this should help you track how much efforts you put into each level.
From the level selection, you will see some new things. A bit of design update, and you can now press Y/triangle/Tab to switch between displaying the level map, or the level stats. This means you cannot hide the UI in the level selection, but I think it was a bit useless.

The total time played starts when the timer starts, it is paused when the game is paused, and stop when you reach the end of the level or if you restart/quit the level.
The death count increase for each death, even the ones before the first checkpoint.
The total attempt increase when you start the level, restart it or reset it during gameplay.
The total completed count increase only when you finish the level.

The stats won't be saved if you Alt+F4 the game, but you know, you shouldn't do that!

This is a first pass on the stats, I'm planning to add the ability to display global stats, showing the global playtime, death etc... But I need to find out where this information will be displayed. At least from now, your stats will be updated as you play, unfortunately, if you have played before this update, the stats won't reflect your own experience,

That's it for this week! Thanks for playing, keep fighting for the leaderboard first place (good luck).

Michael.
