Update (16/06/20)

Hello!

I hope everyone is home and safe! And enjoying the weather.

In the last week, I have been working with Whiler, a very nice guy, who helped me create a new leaderboard for Super High Ball!

Previously I was using Playfab services to store the data related to the leaderboard. It's API was the best regarding free leaderboard in Unreal Engine. Did I say free? Yeah, it's free until a certain point! You can have 25 different leaderboards before having to pay to unlock more. And the price was way too high for an indie developer (99$/month). The issue is, I needed more than 25 leaderboards! Right now I have only 13 levels, but that is going to change! Anyway, Whiler has been working really hard to host a leaderboard on my own server and did some nice script that I have used in Unreal!

What does it mean?

I am free from Playfab, means I do not collect any localisation information! Please read the new EULA to know more about this,
The leaderboard is actually faster to update, so your Rank at the end of a level will show faster!
We will be able to block cheaters! Forever :) Even if I haven't seen one yet.
The players from the Demo, are now sharing the same leaderboards as the players from the Full Game, nice :)

I have also reduced the volume of the music, it might be to low now, so I might bring it back up a bit, or pull down the SFX volumes. Probably in a future update.
The card on the menu screen of the Demo is now responding nicely to screen sizes.

And many tiny fixes that you won't notice.

Now I'll be back to do some new levels and adding new mechanics!

Enjoy, stay safe and see you soon!

Michael.
