Update (20/05/20)

Hello!

Here is a new update I'm pushing to the public branch:

Fixes:

  • Several camera issues across many levels, if you find more please report them - Fixed.
  • Lasers killing when off (touching the base of the laser would kill you) - Fixed.
  • A flipper on Level 09 was pushing the ball on a wall - Fixed.
  • Attempt to fix a major bug with the Best Time - Possibly Fixed (Note: If you notice the timer jumping back and freezing at "00 : 00 : 00", and if you finish the level, the game won't save this as a new Best Time, avoiding you taking the first place in the leaderboard).
  • Keyboard binding was not used after restarting the game - Possibly Fixed (Note: This might be due to the player quitting the game using Alt+F4).
  • Canons kept spinning if the ball was exiting them while rotating the canons (Keyboard only) - Fixed.
  • The Achievement for changing the ball trail was not unlocking on Steam - Fixed (Note: Should unlock by selecting any trails unlocked).
  • The SFX had several issues in the pause menu - Fixed.
  • Music was too loud by default - Fixed.
  • When in windowed mode, the screen was resized on the start of a level - Possibly Fixed.

Added:

  • Pressing the back button on the main menu will highlight "Quit the game".
  • Added a "Masters of bug reports" to the credits.
  • Made the leaderboard icons more visible on the level selection screen.
  • You can now skip the introduction of the levels by pressing A/Space.
  • Added a mark where the ball is destroyed, showing your failures (Please keep the level clean).
  • Added a little "tic" noise when changing the SFX volume.

What's next:

  • There is still a flipper to move because it pushes the ball on a wall (It will be a quick update soon).
  • Rework on the laser logic, so they follow a cycle that reset after a respawn.
  • I will add a little "mark" to show which flippers need to be used as a ramp.
  • I might rework the look of the fires scattered in the levels (Any suggestions are welcome).

Once again thank you for playing the game, keep reporting bugs/suggestions.
And keep fighting for the first place!

Michael.
