Dear friends!
It's time for Steam Playtest #2, which we're running as scheduled.
The Playtest client will be available for download before the servers are turned on. And those players who did not remove the client from the last playtest will only need to download the patch.
The test is open:
carried out using Steam playtest so everyone who signed up for it will have access, as well as everyone who wants to join during testing period.
Lasts for 4 days:
starts at 15:00 02/04/2023 and ends at 21:00 02/07/2023 (GMT+00:00) .
Server:
Normal, i.e. the Steam Playtest participants are located on the same servers as the owners of previously received keys (ROG Club and other distributions);
The test is limited by several locations:
Starting tavern and Rivulet Island.
This playtest is taking place in the same locations, but significantly reworked, with new content and a lot of bug fixes, thanks to the reports/feedback/comments and suggestions received from the previous playtest.
In one form or another, we have brought to life almost everything planned in the “Results of the Playtest # 1”
Issues and difficulties:
We are aware of at least one new bug that crashes the Island server.
In order not to postpone the planned playtest, we reduced the character's intermediate backup time from 15 to 3 minutes (so that possible rollbacks would not be so painful) and added checks around it as much as possible.
In the middle of the playtest there will be a patch and a patch note for the changes over the past week.
ROG’oms up!
