Hi Gearheads!
This week we will talk about some legal stuff.
In Steam comments section there was a heated discussion on whether putting images of real cars is legal.
To make it legal we had to make sure that:
-there are no brand logos on cars
-there are no registery plates, VIN sticker or anything else that would make a vehicle identifiable
We had digitally erased all VINs, logotypes and licence plates off every picture. Our colleagues spent hours to make sure all pictures with no exception are “legalised”!
We also had to ask for pictures and permission to use pictures of those cars.
Do you want your car to be in our game? No problem!
Just send us pictures along with written and signed permission to [email protected]
