- Added the new "Assassin" character class
i. Concept:
Assassins are masters of stealth and guile, so watch out; if you let your guard down you may find yourself poisoned, ambushed, or just quietly stabbed. Assassins are often focused on one thing and one thing only: the elimination of their target! If you allow one to sneak up behind you, you may not live to regret it.
ii. Races that can be played as Assassin:
- Hieron: Habicht, Sylvan Elf, Mascu
- Union: Amistad, Aqua Elf, Pantera, Mascu
iii. Recommended equipment and suitable materials:
Recommended Equipment:
* Weapon: Dagger
* Armor: Light Armor, Medium Armor
- If appropriate armor for the Assassin class is equipped, the beneficial effects provided can differ according to the number of equipped pieces and player level (under / over Level 30).
* Defense Effect : Increase in Dodge rate
* Attack Effect : Increase in Fighting Power, Critical Hit rate, and Critical Hit damage
iv. Targeting Mode: Compatible with both Action-targeting and Tab-targeting
v. Tactics:
- Main Stances:
- When the Mark of Death is stacked to the maximum, consume it to maximize stance switch effects. * Players must utilize the effect where the amount of the Mark of Death is returned based on the amount consumed. * Since the main way to obtain Malevolence is by switching stances, players must continually switch stances to manage Malevolence.
Stance Name Characteristics Tactic 1 Assassinate An assassination type stance that focuses on attacking the enemy from behind. - Damage is increased if attacking from behind. Tactic 2 Withstand A combat type stance that focuses on fighting enemies from the front. - Increases normal Attack Power. Tactic 3 Raid A surprise attack type stance that focuses on quickly attacking the enemy from behind. - Increases Critical Hit after a movement skill. Tactic 4 Poison A poison stance that covers the enemy in poison. - Inflicts additional damage to enemies with [Poison] or [Venom]. Tactic 5 Throw A long range stance that focuses on attacking the enemy by throwing daggers. - The skill after a throwing skill will be a critical hit. Tactic 6 Execute A finishing stance that gets stronger the lower the enemy’s HP is. - Increases the damage of Last Chain Skills.
[New Content - Siege of Castra]
- Added Siege of Castra.
- Large scale (maximum 70 vs 70) PvP content available during scheduled times that divides players by faction (Hieron and Union) to determine victory.
i. How to Join / Event Details:
- Players can register to join beginning 10 minutes before the start time through the War UI in the system menu.
- If there is an imbalance between participants in both factions, there will be queues. Players enter the game in order of their queue number.
- Players can join starting at level 25. Their level will be scaled to 45 upon entrance.
- It will last a maximum of 30 minutes. The faction that defeats the opposing faction’s Lord Commander NPC within 30 minutes wins. If no one defeats the Lord Commander NPC within 30 minutes, the match will end in a tie.
- The schedule for Siege of Castra is as follows (4 times daily):

10:00 14:00 19:00 22:00 ii. Main Rewards - Players may earn Combat Points depending on their level of contribution while participating in Siege of Castra. The winning team will receive more rewards than the losing team. Also, players who received quests from NPCs within the battlefield will receive additional rewards upon victory. iii. Main Objects:01:00 13:00 17:00 22:00 Name Characteristics Purifying Tree A vindictive spirit is summoned if players knock down the Purifying Tree. The vindictive spirit is allied with the faction that knocked down the Purifying Tree. It will then summon “Corrupted Plant” underlings and charge towards the enemy faction’s door or Lord Commander NPC. Guardian Stone The Guardian Stone is created 2 minutes after the battlefield’s vindictive spirit spawns and belongs to the faction that knocked down the Purifying Tree. When the Guardian Stone is destroyed by the opposing faction, the vindictive spirit will disappear, and the faction that destroyed the stone will receive an Attack Power, Ability Power, and Movement Speed increase buff. Artillery There is artillery that protects each faction located in each faction’s headquarters. These automatically attack approaching/ invading characters from the enemy faction.
[Additional Content - Dominion Contract (DC) and Capital War (CW)]
- Dominion Contract: - Dominion Contract refers to the contract that grants the authority to rule over specific territory within the affiliated faction. The guild leader of the guild that succeeds in the Dominion Contract will become a Baron or Governor and their guild will become eligible to participate in the Capital War, which is where the Guardians of the Faction are determined. i. How to Join / Rules - The Dominion Contract is awarded through the Auction and the guild that successfully bids last will win the territory. - Dominion Contract lasts for 40 minutes, and guild leaders can make a bid by using their total amount of Guild Influence points. - The bidding fee is 10% of the guild’s Guild Influence Points and guild leaders will get 90% of their Guild Influence Points (excluding the 10%) back if their bid fails. Players can also bid extra amounts as much as they want even while the auction is ongoing. Additional bids can be done at a 10% or more of the previous bid price. ii. Schedule - The Dominion Contract and Capital War will each be held once every 2 weeks, alternating every Saturday (e.g. 1st and 3rd Saturday = Capital War, 2nd and 4th = Dominion Contract). - First Dominion Contract to start on August 11th (Saturday). * NA: 18:00~18:40 *PDT * EU: 21:00~21:40 *CEST iii. Areas available for Dominion Contract (5 per faction) - Hieron: Lupuscana, Floren, Marta, Curia, Ostium - Union: Navarra, Migdal, Campagna, Terny, Shaqqara iv. Main Rewards - Rewards obtained when winning a Dominion Contract bid * If you win the bid and end up owning territory, you also obtain Reign Points (RP). * Guilds are rewarded with 2000 RP per territory * What are Reign Points? Reign Points are Activity points or EXP that can be obtained by players of the same faction in the same area controlled by a Baron or Governor. Players can check their Reign Points by going to the Guild menu [H]. Items can be purchased using Reign Points in the Reign Point Reward Shops through the Imperial Secretary or Federation Secretary who are located in the big cities. - Reign Points obtained by winning a territory * Guilds occupying a territory due to the Dominion Contract will receive RP daily. * 1 territory per day will earn the guild at least 1000 RP and a maximum of 3000 RP per day
- Capital War:
- Capital War is the battle to determine who will be the highest rank (Protector Marshall or High Praetor) in their respective faction. The roles are divided into offense and defense. Each faction’s Baron or Governor can join at a specific time to try to become the Protector Marshall or High Praetor, or form an alliance and contribute to the Capital War’s defense.
i. How to Join / Rules
- Only the guild leader and guild vice leader of DC winning guilds that own a territory may request to join the Capital War, but once their request is accepted, the whole guild may join. Players can apply for the CW an hour before it starts for a period of 30 minutes (17:00~17:30 PDT / 20:00~20:30 CEST) or enter the battle by talking to the Capital War Manager NPC in either Hieracon or Spezia.
- Capital War lasts for 45 minutes, and within that time players must either protect or contest the Guardian Statue. If one succeeds in both defending and attacking then they will be rewarded with Reign Points and rewards.
* First Protector Marshall / High Praetor Reward:
After the first Dominion Contract on August 8th, the guilds which won the DC and spent the highest amount of Influence Points will become Baron / Governor(Only the highest amount that was successfully bid for a territory will be taken into account). They will be automatically selected as the first Protector Marshall / High Praetor. The first Protector Marshall / High Praetor will not receive a reward for the Capital War. The Protect Marshall / High Praetor guilds that were appointed during the first Dominion Contract will participate as a defense alliance in the first Capital War on August 18th. After the first DC, the High Praetor / Protect Marshall will be decided depending on the outcome of the Capital War.
* How the first Capital War will proceed:
The CW winner(Protector Marshall / High Praetor) can only defend while the remaining DC winners(Baron / Governor) may choose to either defend or attack during the Capital War. The CW winning guild may retain its position if it succeeds in defending, but if the attacking side succeeds, the guild leader who is successful in the interaction after the Guardian Statue is destroyed will become CW winner.
ii. Schedule
- The Capital War takes place once every other week at the following times:
- First Capital War to start on August 18th (Saturday).

* EU: 21:00 - 21:45 *CEST
iii. Main Rewards
- Rewards obtained when becoming the Capital War winner
* 20,000 RP will be rewarded to the winning guild
* A mount costume will be rewarded to the winning guild and guild members:

- Rewards obtained while CW winner status is maintained
* A statue of the Protector Marshall / High Praetor guild leader will be erected in each faction’s capital city (Hieracon / Spezia). The statue will change if the Protector Marshall / High Praetor guild leader changes.
* Players may additionally obtain a set amount of the total amount of RP earned while they are still reigning over the territory.
The CW winning guild can obtain a minimum of 3000 to a maximum of 7000 RP
[Modified Contents]
- Modified some of the Guardian’s skill effects in order to adjust the PvP balance. - Decreased the amount of Defense reduction from 20% to 10% on the [Charge Tactic] passive effect. - Decreased the amount of Damage reduction from 20% to 10% on the [Guard Tactic] passive effect. - Decreased the amount of Damage reduction from 20% to 10% on the [Endurance Tactic] passive effect.
- Modified the Ranger’s [Locate] effects

- Improvements were made so that a "Chain Break' text appears whenever the chain is interrupted or is unsuccessful in order to allow players to react to the situation easier.
- Improved mount and pet stamina regeneration cycle. - Reduced the regeneration cycle, making it appear on the Companion UI and action bar.
- Increased the damage obtained through an NPC decal skill overall.
- Modified the Critical Hit effect obtainable when equipping an Assassin class armor set in 4 areas. Balance was adjusted due to the armor set effects being too optimized compared to other classes’ armor set effects.

[Miscellaneous]
- Added one extra slot to the maximum number of allowed characters (7 total).
- Improved visibility and usability of the Dungeon UI.
- Improved Party Widget UI convenience. - Expanded the clickable button to select party members.
- Improved Guide Quest UI. - Required conditions for Guide Quest will now also appear if there’s more than one or if it's optional in order to do the guide quest. - Guide quests which only can be done in the tutorial zone will now display a message announcing this in the journal.
- An explanation can be seen when hovering the mouse cursor over the System Menu.
- Fixed an issue where characters would sometimes disappear at camera distance when they should be appearing.
- Added a deactivation setting to the Party / Raid widget. - In order to solve the difficulties Paladins have when selecting a healing target, the widget will be deactivated if the distance between party and raid members is over a certain distance. - The distance can be changed by going to Interface -> Game Settings -> Status Info menu. * Default (max): 60m (Adjustment by 1m is possible between 30 - 60m range)
- The chain combo buttons (R/T/Y) will now be shown as active.
- The Peninsula War icon will now appear in the bottom right side of the screen when a Peninsula War is ongoing.
- Added an Energy gauge UI when sprinting.
- The left half of the original gauge will display the gauge used when sprinting.
- The mount’s status will be displayed in the mount stamina gauge.
- The tooltip UI was improved so as to increase recognition of stance skills.
- All node growth effects will be displayed individually.
- Acquired nodes will be displayed in white letters and unacquired nodes will be displayed in gray letters.
- Increased the character limit in chat from 100 to 120 characters. - Added an option where it’s possible to view the character limit and the current number of characters.
[Bug Fixes]
i. Battle System
- Fixed the suspected cause of the issue that arises when battling the final boss Flogas in Migra Turris (Normal / Elite) dungeon where the “Pillar of Biting Cold” would behave abnormally at times. * If this issue arises again, please take a screenshot or video and let us know through Customer Support.
- Fixed an issue where a pet’s passive effect would transfer to the character when the character died and the pet was unsummoned.
- Fixed an issue where Lumena would be deducted if a player failed to enter a dungeon right away.
- Fixed an issue where the minimum level required for using some beginner equipment was different according to character class. The minimum level is now set to level 1. - Weapon: Longsword of the Trainee, Club of Training, Dagger of the Trainee, Axe of the Novice, Wand of the Beginner, Trainee’s Longbow, Stout Shield of the Apprentice - Armor: “of the Trainee”, “of the Beginner”, “of the Novice” armor series
- Fixed an issue where characters with ranged attacks would be able to hunt a “Giant Malefic Blob” alone in certain Basel locations.
- Fixed an issue where combat would end abnormally for the hostile target and the character who healed the player if combat was ended for reasons outside of defeating the enemy after the player received healing effects while in combat.
- Fixed an issue where a Union character would be able to enter a Hieron territory through certain locations during the Peninsula War.
- Fixed an issue where a battle would still be ongoing even after a certain time has passed if the players were in a party battle against another character and the battle was interrupted.
- Modified the contents of the Paladin [Transcend] stance skill’s tooltip in order to make the skill clearer.
ii. Quest
- Fixed an issue where the “complete” text would appear abnormally and a quest’s conditions would appear again even after all the objectives in a guide quest are completed.
- Fixed an issue where the “on head tag” icon wouldn’t appear on a guide quest’s goal NPC and complete NPC.
- Fixed an issue where the message “Can only be performed while the basic guide is in progress” wouldn’t appear when doing guide quests in the tutorial zone.
- Fixed an issue in the “Old Friends” story quest where the kill count for the target NPC wouldn’t go up when the NPC was defeated if the player left the area, making it difficult to complete the quest.
iii. UI / UX
- Fixed an issue where the camera setting would show an area without the character if it had been zoomed out too much in spaces that weren’t a wide field. - Added the camera setting value for the Mascu race which didn’t exist before. - Modified the maximum zoom out level of the default camera.
- Fixed an issue where the Spirit window would always pop up when right clicking on any Spirit item in the inventory. This popup window will now appear only when the player is able to use Spirits after reaching a certain level.
- Fixed an issue where recipes that couldn’t be learned wouldn’t be grayed out in the UI.
- A pop-up warning will now appear if a player doesn’t meet the requirements and level needed to learn each crafting skill when they are selecting a Main and Sub Crafting Skill.
- Fixed an issue where a pet’s stamina consumption would appear abnormally in the bottom shortcut favorites list if the list exceeded 2 pages.
- Fixed an issue where the UI text would appear abnormally when playing on a resolution higher than 2048 x 1280.
- Fixed an issue where the speech bubbles would appear smaller than they should on a 3840 x 2160 resolution.
- Fixed an issue where the inside of the dialogue window that popped up when talking to the Market Manager would be displayed abnormally if the player interacted with the Market Manager right after logging into the game.
- Fixed an issue where casting wouldn’t be cancelled and the casting bar would continuously appear if a character summoned a mount from the favorites list while moving.
iv. Graphics / Location Bugs
- Added a flight motion option to some ground mounts without a flight option.
- Fixed an issue where characters would get stuck in some locations in the Quarry District 3.
- Fixed an issue where movement would be blocked by a transparent object located in the Campagna Plains on The Commoners’ Residential Area stairs.
- Fixed an issue where the location or direction of some mount grade effects would be displayed incorrectly.
v. Audio / Texts
- Fixed some errors and inconsistencies in the audio and script.
- Modified some NPC’s facial motions to match their voices.
- Fixed some translation errors and inconsistencies.
vi. Others
- Fixed gameplay issues that would arise if a player clicked on certain buttons when playing with an XBOX controller. If an XBOX controller is connected, the movements will be disabled since the controller isn’t officially supported.
- Fixed an issue where characters with overlapping names could not be deleted after the server transfer.
