Greetings!
We will be consolidating our servers on December 19th (PST).
The details are as follows.
[Server Consolidation Schedule and Guide]
- Server Consolidation Schedule: December 19th, 2018 (PST) * The maintenance time will be announced at a later date
- Who will be affected?
Characters that were created before the expected maintenance on December 19th will be transferred to the new consolidated servers. Enjoy Bless in a new environment!
- NA Region:
Hilan / Kairos will be merged to form the new server [NA] Perisos.
- EU Region
Bacillas / Iriaphos will be merged to form the new server [EU] Harman.
[Transference of Character Information]
All character information will be transferred securely. However, if there are any faction clashes (if a player has characters from both the Hieron or Union faction) or if there are insufficient character slots for the amount of characters possessed, then some characters may be deactivated according to the priority guidelines below.
If there is no discrepancy between the characters’ factions and there are enough slots for all characters on an account, then rest assured that all character information will be transferred securely.
- What if I have characters from different factions? As the Bless world is based on the conflicting Hieron and Union factions, players cannot create characters of both the Hieron and Union faction on the same server. Therefore, if an account has both Hieron and Union characters on servers that will be consolidated, only one faction’s characters will be transferred and the other will be deactivated. The process for determining which faction’s characters will remain and which will be deactivated will be based on the following character preservation priority standards. The opposing faction’s characters will automatically be deactivated. (Deactivation does not mean that your character information will be deleted. Although the character will not be shown on the character selection window, Neowiz will continue to store the character’s information. If the player would like to have their other faction’s character information preserved, and it happens to be eligible for restoration under Neowiz’s policy, then the player may request the reactivation of the inactive faction’s character information and deactivate the opposite faction’s character.) - Priority Guidelines for when a player has characters of opposing factions: First Priority: Guild leader characters Second Priority: High level characters Third Priority: Most recently used character If an account has a character that is a guild leader, we will prioritize preserving characters that are in the same faction as the guild leader character. If there is no guild leader character, the next priority will be high level characters, and lastly, the most recently played character. The faction to be preserved will be decided using the above standards. *Guild leaders are prioritized because a guild’s information will also be deleted if its guild leader is deleted, thereby affecting not only the guild leader but all guild members.
- What if I have more characters than character slots? A total of 10 slots are available, including 4 free slots and 6 paid slots. If an account has more characters than character slots, the characters to be transferred will be determined based on the below character preservation priority standard and the amount of character slots a player has. First Priority: Guild leaders characters Second Priority: High level characters Third Priority: Most recently used character For example, if a player did not purchase extra character slots on the servers to be consolidated, then only a max of 4 character slots will be available. As a result, only 4 characters will be transferred according to the above character preservation standard. All other characters aside from the 4 will be deactivated. (There is no problem if you have less characters than the amount of slots owned.)
- What if someone has the same character name? If another character has the same character name within the servers to be consolidated, then your character name will be changed temporarily. First Priority: Characters which were created before this Server Consolidation Announcement, and which were used to play the game between the announcement period and the actual server consolidation maintenance date. If the other character with the same name did not connect to the game during the period between the announcement period and the actual server consolidation maintenance date, then the character name will be maintained. If the other character with the same name did connect to the game during the period between the announcement and the actual server consolidation maintenance date, then the player’s character name will be changed temporarily. Once connected to the new consolidated server, the player will be required to rename their character in order to proceed. Second Priority: Characters created after this Server Consolidation Announcement. Between a character created before this announcement and one created after, the name of the one created before will be maintained if their character names overlap. The character will be given a temporary name (original name + number), and ONE chance to change the character name upon connecting to the server after consolidation. Renaming characters on the new server will be conducted on a first-come first-serve basis. Players will need to act quickly in order to get their desired name. Players will not be able to connect to the game if overlapping names are not changed after server consolidation.
- What if another guild has the same guild name? If two guilds have the same name, the following priority naming standard will be applied. First Priority: The name of the higher level guild will be preserved. Second Priority: If the guild levels are the same, the guild that was created earlier will have their name preserved. Third Priority: If both of the standards above are not applicable, then temporary names in the format of “Guild Name + Number” will be assigned. ※ Guilds that were give temporary guild names can be changed once the guild leader character connects to the game.
- Gold As gold is bound to the server, all gold from servers to be consolidated will be combined and made usable on the new server. In other words, if a player has 1 Gold on server A, and 2 Gold on server B, then the player will now have 3 Gold on the new server.
- Using the Market As the market system of registering and purchasing items is account based, players can continue to register and purchase items from the marketplace regardless of character name changes.

[Transference and Recovery of Purchased Items]
A) Purchased Character Slots

Case 2: If the total amount of purchased character slots exceeds 6, the exceeding amount will be converted to Lumena. The Lumena will then be given to the player’s character with the highest level on the new server.
Case 3: If the purchased character slot(s) is associated with a faction that has been deactivated in accordance with the above character preservation priority standards, then the purchased slot(s) will automatically be transferred to the remaining active faction. [Server Merge Notice: Rift of Space and Time Ranking]
* All Rift of Space and Time rankings will be reset after the server merge. However, the entrance limit will not be reset and the Rift of Space and Time will continue after the server merge. Please keep this in mind when joining the Rift of Space and Time after the weekly ranking is reset and before the server merge maintenance.
[Server Merge Notice: Capital War and Dominion Contract]
Since Capital War and Dominion Contract will start anew after the servers are merged, the previous servers’ Lord, Viceroy, Protector Marshall, and High Praetor will be reset. The High Praetor / Protector Marshall guild that was victorious in the last Capital War will lose its status after the server merge and will receive compensation later on. Please refer to the [Capital War and Dominion Contract Schedule Change Announcement] for more information.
- Notes:
- According to the above character preservation standards, some characters on servers to be consolidated may be deactivated after the opening of the new consolidated server.
- If a player would like to reactivate a character that was deactivated due to either faction incompatibility or having too many characters after server consolidation, then please contact our Customer Support. ※ Please decide carefully as faction changes can be made through our Customer Support only ONCE.
- If by any chance a guild leader character gets deactivated after the server consolidation maintenance, the guild will also be deactivated. Any guild member can contact Customer Support to request that the guild be reactivated by making one of the current guild members the guild leader. The criteria for selecting the new guild leader is as follows: ※ First priority - the character with the higher guild ranking ※ Second priority - the character who joined the guild first ※ Third priority - the character that has logged in most recently within the last two weeks. ※ If a guild has only one member (and that member is the guild leader and is deactivated), the guild will be deactivated and will not be recovered even if the guild leader character is restored. In order to prevent this, make sure to add at least one new member to any single person guilds and appoint the new member as a vice guild leader before the server consolidation maintenance takes place.
- Character names on a player’s friends list may be changed or deleted after server consolidation. Please double check when sending mail or gifts.
- Overlapping character names or guild names can be changed beginning December 19th, after the server consolidation maintenance.
- If a character that was deactivated due to either faction incompatibility or having too many characters was a guild member, then the character will also be removed from the guild members list.
Thank you,
The Bless Team
