If you own a Closed Beta Pack or Veteran Pack, the battlegrounds of World War 3 are now open to you! Your exclusive three-day Headstart is available now until September 29 at 10:00 UTC (at which point World War 3 will be free to play for everyone).
We’re proud to offer this exclusive pre-release window of playtime to Closed Beta players and Veterans as thanks for their incredible support through Early Access, the Veteran Alpha Test, Closed Beta, Public Stress Tests, and now a major new milestone: the free-to-play Open Beta. We look forward to the continued support of our player community as we soldier on together to a bigger, brighter future!
Players with Headstart access can play World War 3 today to enjoy the following features:
- Complete Open Beta Experience: Use your Headstart access to get started on progression before the free-to-play Open Beta begins, and experience this new and improved version of the game before just about everyone else!
- New and Improved Game: Countless improvements have been made to improve the game on a technical, visual, audio, and gameplay level. Check out the full list of changes in the Open Beta patch notes.
- Smolensk Returns: A newly-reworked Smolensk (Tactical Ops) is back in map rotation. See what’s new in the Feature Spotlight!
