Hey, Netherholics!
Blah-blah-blah let’s go to the point:
1) New Game Announcement
After a pitch party at the studio and several months working on it secretly, we can finally show you stuff (all WIP).
Ladies and gentlemen, here's what we want our next game to be:
1.1) What’s LIMBFALL?
Limbfall is a pixel art action-platformer roguevania where, as a sealed soul, you’ll have to attach and remove limbs to finish the Reincarnation Way.
Build your body with heads, arms, legs and torsos to gain all sorts of abilities.
Explore a hand-made interconnected world, and unlock new paths + events between runs.
Limbs will be key to reach every corner of your Way. If you die, you’ll play as a new soul looking for reincarnation.
Fight ferocious enemies, decide to face or avoid bosses… and cope with the consequences!
>> It’s basically the pagan son of Blasphemous and Dead Cells.
1.2) Current status
We started with a prototype to test the main mechanics, and we recently finished a vertical slice**.
**small, more polished and playable cross-section of a game.
1.3) Next steps
We're currently looking for funding for the full development of the game.
If you know publishers that may be interested in it, let us know here! >>
1.4) “Can I play Limbfall?”
TOMORROW, but sadly not everybody! Keep reading:
2) Events
We’ll have less stands this year because our priority is pitching the game to publishers, but these are our first confirmed 2026 events:
2.1) Guadalindie 2026 (July 3-4)
This time with a physical stand where you'll be able to play NetherWorld AND the vertical slice of Limbfall!
2.2) Gamescom 2026 (August 26-30)
(No stand in the expo, just us standing and showing Limbfall on a screen in the B2B area hehe)
3) Steam Summer Sale
And for those who missed our last update, Steam Summer Sale is still on fire!
Until July 9,
Get NetherWorld or its bundle (game+OST+artbook) on Steam with 30% OFF!
Aaaaand that's it for now!
What do you think about Limbfall? Would you play it?
As always, thanks so much for your support,
Hungry Pixel team
