Hello everyone.. Just some updated news, the main one being my decision to increase the price of Rock 'N Roll..
When I launched Rock 'N Roll in early access on July 13, 2017, I stated then that I would be adding a lot of features and content and increasing the price to as much as $5.99 or more. The early access launch price was $2.99 USD.
After adding many of the features and implementing over 35 updates to the game, I felt the game was the for the most part feature complete and free of bugs so I took my game out of early access on August 28, 2017.
When I took it out out of early access, because of the low sales seen in the games six weeks of being on Steam in early access, I decided to lower the price to $1.99 to see if I could spur interest or increase the sales volume.. even though I strongly felt my game was worth even a little more than my $2.99 early access price tag.
Lowering the price for this game has not really affected the interest in my retro arcade action asteroid shooter, so after much thought, I've decided to set the price for my game at a price point that I not only feel is more on target with the value I feel my game delivers, but also a $3.99 price is more in line with where other similar games to my own are priced.
On another subject, global scores and leaderboards is something I am still working to implement into Rock 'N Roll, it's just a matter of getting the code correct within my game to work properly with Steam. Please be patient as I continue to try to get this feature added to my game and remember that this is my first published game on Steam. So far, everything has went really smoothly, but this particular feature has been where I've been snagged. It is still planned and I do hope to bring it to my game.
Trading cards is a definite for my game with that only being limited right now by reviews and sales volume of my game! When the Steam criteria is met and they offer me the luxury of giving you all trading cards for this game, it will definitely be added quickly.
Thanks for reading, and I hope that you are or have enjoyed Rock 'N Roll!
