Tonight's update includes the Tunic Dye system and some small tweaks.
You all seemed to like the Tunic Dye idea so much (based on the likes the announcement got!) that I decided to finish it and get it in the game!
You can craft clothing dyes at the Tailor using Alchemy ingredients. I'm still tweaking the balance for these so the recipes might change.
There are two new colors (black and yellow) that are only available through the Tailor. I'll likely add some more and perhaps some two-tone colors too. I'll also be making a few of the colors exclusive to Early Access supporters. More on that at a future date.
This build also includes some bug fixes and tweaks:
- Monster Head Trophies now display in the crafting preview window.
- Right-clicking to unequip an item now correctly sets your stats.
- Fixed a bug that caused right-clicking to unequip an item to not remove the 3D object for that item on your character.
- The green controller selection indicator for the NPC Conversation UI now defaults to off until you make a controller input.
- Increased the minimum number of placed buildings before Workers will begin to wander a town. At only four buildings it just looked weird. The new minimum is seven and I might increase it further depending on how that feels.
Work continues on the new monsters. We're working on an updated texture for the Fire Elemental to make him match better with the other monsters and the Earth Elemental is almost modeled as well. The same artist is also working on the new weapons and armor.
Once all three Elementals are done I'll probably put them in the game rather than wait for the other monsters to finish up. That might take too long, plus I need them for some quests I'm working on!
